| I have been in private practice since 1984, concentrating in criminal defense work. When I began my career I worked with a very well known criminal defense attorney by the name of Nile Stanton. Nile was involved in some of the most publicized cases in Indiana (Tony Kritsis, the man who strapped a shotgun around his realtor's neck and walked him down the streets of Indianapolis; Brett Kimberlin, the Speedway Bomber; Roger Drolinger, the multiple murderer; etc...). I left Nile 's practice in 1986 to go out on my own and I have since represented thousands of defendants in criminal cases throughout the State, as well as at the appellate level and doing PCR work. Although my office is in Morgan County, I practice across Indiana. I have been featured multiple times in The Indianapolis Monthly, and have the reputation of fighting very hard for my clients. In addition to my criminal defense practice, I also do adoptions, and I am the only attorney in the midwest who has a surrogate mother program that assists infertile clients across the world. You should also be aware that I am one of the few attorneys in the State who will never represent snitches. If you are thinking about working for the police in exchange for a reduction in your charges, please do not ask me to be your lawyer. |
